Il titolo di quest’opera deriva dall’esagramma, inciso lungo la superficie delle due figure, facente parte dell’I Ching, testo classico cinese considerato da Confucio libro di saggezza, e utilizzato a livello popolare a scopo divinatorio.

Il significato proprio dell’oracolo Hsien è l’Attrazione, ovvero le energie forti e deboli si uniscono e creano un maggiore equilibrio interiore, che garantisce soprattutto l'unione. La complementarità è portatrice di pace e armonia.

The title of this work derives from the hexagram, engraved on the surface of the two figures, which is part of the I Ching, a classic Chinese text considered by Confucius to be a book of wisdom, and used popularly for divination purposes. The specific meaning of the oracle Hsien is Attraction, meaning that strong and weak energies unite and create a greater inner balance, which primarily ensures union. Complementarity brings peace and harmony.
