CONCEPT
Il titolo deriva dal Sanscrito ed indica ciò che è divino o celeste; letteralmente si traduce con “colui che emana luce”. La posa della figura femminile è leggiadra e sinuosa; le incisioni richiamano volutamente il vento che soffia. Si collega dunque all’Aria in quanto uno dei quattro elementi naturali, con uno specifico significato: è un simbolo sensibile della vita invisibile, in quanto tale è un elemento purificatore. È il principio della composizione e della fruttificazione, intermedio tra i due elementi Fuoco e Acqua. Per questo motivo, rappresenta la linea di demarcazione proprio tra la terra e il cielo. In altre parole questo elemento sottile è il punto di contatto tra la spiritualità e la materia. Inoltre, l’Aria viene associata al respiro vitale, al respiro cosmico.
The title derives from Sanskrit and indicates what is divine or celestial; literally translates as "he who emanates light". The pose of the female figure is graceful and sinuous; the incisions deliberately recall the wind that blows. It is therefore connected to the Air as one of the four natural elements, with a specific meaning: it is a sensitive symbol of the invisible life, as such it is a purifying element. It is the principle of composition and fructification, intermediate between the two elements Fire and Water. For this reason, it represents the dividing line between the earth and the sky. In other words, this subtle element is the point of contact between spirituality and matter. Furthermore, Aria is associated with the vital breath, with the cosmic breath.
